Crane Maintenance Engineer

This role assists the maintenance team in all day-to-day activities ensuring the workload is prioritised and planned effectively and periodic inspections of cranes and all mechanical handling equipment is carried out in line with company requirements and statutory regulations.

(40 hours per week plus 1 week in 4 on call)

Portico have an opportunity for an experienced individual to join the organisation as a Crane Maintenance Engineer.

This role will assist the maintenance team in all day-to-day activities ensuring that the workload is prioritised and planned effectively and that periodic inspections of cranes and all mechanical handling equipment is carried out in line with company requirements and statutory regulations.

To apply for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous achievements in the following areas:

Qualifications/Experience:

– An excellent knowledge of mobile harbour cranes, specifically Kone
– Relevant electrical qualifications, knowledge and experience
– Experience of working at height and using MEWP’s
– Current clean driving license

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar / comparable industry
