Exhibitor Spotlight: Aprojects

What does Aprojects do ?

Established in 2005, Aprojects developed to a global operating logistics service provider specializing in offering comprehensive, turnkey solutions for complex logistics supply chains.
Adapting to customers’ service and geographical requirements we continuously expanded our geographical presence, and our offerings related to industrial project logistics.

From supplier to site, we offer support in global logistics, e.g., purchase order management, ex-works pickup, marshaling yards, packing, preservation, terminal handling, cargo superintendent services,

stevedoring, multi-modal transport coordination, customs clearance, destination services, including delivery, rigging, and on-site installation, among others.
Whether it’s a specific request or a comprehensive project, Aprojects provides tailor-made, door-to-door logistical solutions for all types of equipment, ranging from the smallest components to the heaviest of Heavy Lifts in complex development sites.
Our customers’ projects are often related to Energy (power plants), Renewable (hydro / solar / wind), and Infrastructure (chemical plants, (cement) production plants, mining, and road construction).

Aprojects’ dedicated teams provide customers with control tower vision and end-to-end traceability of each individual component.
We’ve observed a rise in offshore renewable energy projects worldwide – a trend reflecting the market’s transition toward cleaner energy sources as countries aim to enhance energy security and reduce dependence on imported or other fossil fuels. With over 20 years of experience in projects, including oil and gas activities, Aprojects successfully applies this expertise to renewable projects that demand similar support.

By offering integrated solutions that cover the entire supply chain, including marshalling yards, inventory management, chartering, shipping, and logistics, Aprojects is uniquely positioned to deliver customized services that meet our clients’ specific needs globally.
We believe this is what sets us apart.

What are your long-term plans?

We align our future strategy with evolving demands of the industry. This means Aprojects will continue to expand its geographical footprint and service offerings,
where opportunities arise AND where we can bring value.

Our long-term goals are shaped by three key areas : sustainability, digitalization, and global expansion.
Firstly, sustainability remains at the forefront of our ambitions. The global shift toward renewable energy projects is a trend we closely follow and embrace.
Hydrogen, offshore wind, solar, and other clean energy initiatives are becoming increasingly integral to our portfolio. We are committed to supporting this energy
transition, not just by providing logistical solutions for renewable projects but by reducing our own carbon footprint.
Our goal is to innovate within our operations, using eco-friendly transport options and optimizing our processes to deliver sustainable solutions for our clients.
By 2030, we aim to have fully integrated green logistics practices across all of our operations.

Secondly, further digitalization is key, and we are enhancing our control tower vision, expanding our use of technology for real-time monitoring, to improve end-to-end visibility
for our internal and external clients. Lots of challenges there…
Our long-term vision includes further smart investment in IT systems that enhance forecasting capabilities and provide more efficient project management.

Lastly, our global presence will continue to expand as we pursue growth in strategic markets. With our current hubs in Europe, Asia, and North America, we are well-positioned to support large-scale infrastructure and
renewable energy projects globally. Over the next decade, we plan to further solidify our footprint in other emerging markets where (we can bring value to existing and new customers supply chains related
their industrial and infrastructural projects .
This will be done by strengthening local partnerships and developing new facilities, to further ensure Aprojects remains same reliable player.

In essence, our long-term vision is to continue adapting, innovating, and expanding while remaining omitted to providing flexible, sustainable, and technologically
advanced solutions while staying true to the values that have brought us success.

What was your biggest project of 2023/2024?

It’s always difficult to choose a single project as the “biggest”, as each project brings its own unique challenges and significance. However, if we had to highlight one, it would be the turnkey project for a
new combined cycle power plant in Belgium. With a capacity of 875 MW – with an efficiency of more than 63%, making it one of the highest efficiencies in the world for a combined cycle – this plant will
supply electricity to more than 1 million households per year.

This was a truly challenging, complex and large-scale operation. Project involved chartering, and coordinating the transport of 30,000 freight tons of critical equipment from various locations in Asia to Belgium.
Among these were massive units weighing upto 325 tons each and measuring more than 30 meters in length. Aprojects arranged shipment from overseas to our terminal adjacent to our Antwerp Project Station (berth 410 in Port of Antwerp),
which is equipped with a heavy lift crane, SPMT trailers, and our new heavy lift warehouse.

What truly stood out in this project was the tireless effort and dedication of the entire global Aprojects teams and partners. Some days we worked
around the clock, ensuring that every phase—from loading in Asia to final delivery at the client’s laydown area—was executed flawlessly.
It was a remarkable demonstration of teamwork and capability, and a triple A performance of everyone involved.

We invite your readers to watch the video to learn how this 875-megawatt power plant will reduce CO2 emissions by 20% and support renewable energy
by providing flexible electricity supply when wind and solar production is low.

How do you feel about exhibiting at AntwerpXL this year?

The Breakbulk community consists of like-minded individuals who all share the same passion and skillset required to make creative, intelligent and responsible decisions.
Things get intriguing when they demand out-of-the-box thinking, and let’s be honest handling high, heavy and complicated cargo is enjoyable, even if it might necessitate a touch of “audacity” to continue enjoying it.
AntwerpXL provides yet another opportunity to meet interesting individuals in the project cargo and breakbulk industry in person. It serves as a suitable networking platform, enabling Aprojects, as well as all the guests and participants,
to foster connections, create new business opportunities, and fortify existing key relationships.
Let’s connect, re-connect, and continue growing… Aprojects has always operated discreetly, following the motto: “Work hard in silence and let success make the noise.” But sometimes, on occasion like these we humbly raise our flag.

Any other exciting company news you have?

As part of our growth strategy, we opened 3 new branches in Istanbul, Madrid and Abu Dhabi in recent months.

Turkey, strategically located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, serves as a gateway to a dynamic trade network between two continents. Madrid, in turn, provides access to the logistics infrastructure of the European continent. And Abu Dhabi,
represents a burgeoning economic hub in the Middle East that offers tremendous opportunities for growth and collaboration in our logistics sector.
By expanding our presence in these key locations, we aim to not only increase our service reach, but also build stronger relationships with local partners and stakeholders. The new locations will act as logistics hubs of innovation,
equipped with all facilities and staffed with experienced professionals who are adept at navigating the complexities of heavy load logistics and know the region in question like the back of their hand.

Moreover, this expansion strategy aligns seamlessly with our overarching commitment to sustainability and care for the environment. Our company uses advanced technologies to minimize our carbon footprint and optimize resource use.
As we move into these new areas, our company remains steadfast in our mission to exceed customer expectations, maintain the highest quality and safety standards, and drive innovation in the field of heavy cargo logistics and supply chain solutions.
We at Aprojects are ready to redefine the future of logistics in Turkey, Madrid, Abu Dhabi and beyond.

“Our company recently marked a new milestone. Aprojects is expanding and we are now including the Indian market in our logistics services
In order to get off to a smooth start, we are calling on the long-standing expertise of Superfreight, which has been operating under the Aprojects Group banner since 2024.

With strategic locations in Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Delhi as well as Chennai, they are at the heart of the entire Indian supply chain.

Superfreight’s expertise and experience align seamlessly with the strategic objectives we breathe and aim for at Aprojects.
