DEUFOL is an industrial goods packaging & supply chain expert. Providing both packaging & supply chain services for industrial & project cargo, and being globally present, we are able to support our customers with their industrial projects & supply chain. END-2-END!
In our DEUFOL network of operations, our DEUFOL HUBS are an important asset where we consolidate, store, pack and ship the industrial cargo for our customers. Together with our packaging expertise and our digital solutions, we help customers to manage their projects supply chain end-to-end, in full transparency.
What are your long-term plans?
The future looks bright. And green. We are eager to grow, both in our global presence as in our service portfolio.
With our digital innovations in industrial packaging & supply chain we aim to make our packaging solutions more sustainable and reduce the ecological footprint of our and our customers supply chains.
Examples are digital DEUFOL innovations such as Deufol Photodocu, Deufol Boxcad and Deufol Supply Chain Management Software. They bring better packaging, more supply chain transparency and end-to-end solutions for industrial supply chains.
Deufol has ISO9001 & embarked on the rollout of ISO14001 for environmental management and has developed ‘Go Green’ programmes to customise sustainability strategies for different customers. By understanding the different needs and goals of its customers, Deufol can consider factors such as material usage, packaging redesign, reusable packaging and emission reduction to minimise environmental impacts.
What was your biggest project of 2023/2024?
With 2500 colleagues spread over numerous sites in 12 countries worldwide we had a lot of great projects.
One that for sure is in the top list of 2024 is a project for one of our most valued customers in Belgium: Receiving, packing & shipping 3 huge generator sets in our DEUFOL Port of Antwerp HUB: 3 perfectly airtight packed generator sets of 185 tons and 300 m3 each, plus multiple shipping containers with equipment. This kind of projects are only feasible thanks the combination of our space & warehouse capacity, our Seaport HUB’s, and our industrial packaging expertise.
How do you feel about exhibiting at AntwerpXL this year?
We’ve exhibited at Antwerp XL last year and the year before. We will be exhibiting this year. And the next for sure. Because for us, Antwerp XL is a great event to connect with breakbulk & project cargo professionals, to learn on innovations in the industry, to grow our business. And it is perfectly organized, for exhibitors as well as visitors! So we are thrilled to meet and invite everyone to our C21 booth for a drink, a snack and a chat!
Any other exciting company news you have?
2 actually 😊. Last year we’ve opened our DEUFOL HOUSTON HUB. A 14.000 sqm perfectly connected HUB close to the port of Houston and the Houston-George Bush Airport. It expands our US presence in with a modern HUB in an important location for industrial supply chains.
And also last year, DEUFOL and Menzell Döhle launched the Joint Venture Deufol Döhle Projects (DDP), focusing on project logistics, supply chain & packaging services for big industrial projects. Like infrastructure and energy projects. Or plant engineering and heavy-duty logistics. DDP meanwhile realized several beautiful industrial projects!
