Who visited in 2024

AXL 2024 attracted representatives from the biggest cargo owners from across the world. Here are just a few of them:

It’s very good to see the big crowd coming back to AXL year after year, and a growing scene. Sustainability is well presented here at the fair, and renewables of course, overall it is a great show.

Senior Port Specialist
Vestas Wind Systems

AXL proved to be a great platform to say hello and to catch up in one place. The event was a key meeting point to learn about upcoming trends.

Head of Marketing & Sales
Panalpina

We’ve been impressed by the number of people at the show – a great mix of customers, prospects and suppliers. AXL has been big enough to be very productive without being impersonal.

Networking

Connect with the global breakbulk industry

AXL 2024 was all about connecting those working in the breakbulk, heavy-lift, project cargo, and RoRo industries, forging new relationships and business opportunities. Check out what networking events we had on at AXL this year.

ANTWERPXL EVENT APP

The App was our fantastic networking tool that enabled you to search & connect with your fellow visitors & exhibitors to arrange meetings at the event. It was a great way to meet new clients, and expand your network.

NETWORKING BAR

The social hub of the event, the Networking Bar was where visitors came to relax, catch up with peers, grab a refreshment, and make new connections with a global audience of breakbulk, heavy-lift, and project cargo professionals.

PORT TOUR

Diving into the world of breakbulk, project cargo, heavy lift, and RoRo, attendees had the opportunity to discover the Port’s unparalleled capabilities in these areas and connect with industry peers on a tour of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges before the Opening Ceremony kicked off.

OPENING CEREMONY

To launch the fourth edition of the show in grand style, all visitors were invited to attend the Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception. Guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbly and had the chance to connect with fellow visitors and exhibitors, as well as enjoy a sneak peek at what the event had in store!

LATE-NIGHT NETWORKING

On day two of AXL, attendees were able to grab a complimentary drink, see what special events the exhibitors were running on their stands, and mingle with global cargo owners, freight forwarders, ports, carriers, and more.

KONECRANES AFTERPARTY

Just because the show closed for the night didn’t mean the party had to stop! Attendees headed down to Café Den Bengel Bar on the Old Town Square to continue celebrating with old colleagues and new friends in the historic city of Antwerp.
