At this year’s AntwerpXL, that took place on 28-30th November at the Antwerp Expo, stand awards were given to the most impressing exhibitors.
For the ‘Best Overall Stand’ award, the AntwerpXL team consider stand design, sustainability and atmosphere during the show! The winner this year, for the second year in a row was MSC Belgium NV who showcased a huge stand with a ship, crane, containers and bar!
Journalist Molly Cooper spoke with Kim Corthouts, business support and development marketing executive at MSC Belgium NV about winning the award.
‘This year we aimed for a real eyecatcher. From all over the fair you could see our well-known MSC yellow containers and the MSC Alanya. The VR experience we had at our stand allowed visitors to see the world of breakbulk through the eyes of our experts, and our caterers kept guests plied with fresh and tasty appetizers,’ explains Corthouts.
Winning two years in a row shows the time and effort MSC place into their stand at the show. ‘We are so proud and makes us more competitive for next year. There is always space for improvement, and we will take that into account for next year but we always aim to have eye-catching and interactive booths to wow our visitors,’ she adds.
Speaking of how the show went for the company, Corthouts says: ‘Our experts were able to meet people in the same business, with same interests and explore new opportunities at AntwerpXL.’
