3D printing is one of the new technologies that has come to revolutionize the industry and logistics sector. We are facing a disruptive moment, and we can really say that we are changing the way we manufacture, but also the way we transport the goods. This disruptive power of 3D printing is what makes this technology one of the key pieces to understand the next evolution of the economy. Not surprisingly, according to a report by the consulting firm McKinsey, the three-dimensional printing market will grow exponentially in the coming years, reaching a volume of 550,000 million dollars in 2025.

The applications and advantages that this technology incorporates are evident to the industry. Among other things, it allows you to manufacture on demand, without the need for large volumes of inventory and stock. This makes it easier for large spaces not to be necessary to house the productive activity, that is, we can manufacture in smaller locations and, above all, closer to the final customer. This in turn means that it is possible to reduce transport time, which is undoubtedly a key piece, since, in recent years, and as a result of massive relocations to Asia, the logistics cost has become an important spherel for many manufacturers.
